Virginie de Chassey, Chief Sustainability and External Affairs Officer, having joined Eramet in 2018, is a member of the Eramet Group Executive Committee. She oversees the environment, ESG performance, societal impact and human rights, communications and corporate affairs and partnerships businesses.

Prior to that, she was Director of Public Affairs for PSA (Stellantis), following 12 years with the carmaker including role as Sustainability head. She began her career at Pechiney in 1993, where she held several positions in the field of communication and philanthropy. A graduate in history and information and communication, Virginie also co-chaired the French network of sustainable development directors C3D in 2009- 2010. Since December 2019, she has been vice-president of the Alliance des Minerais, Minéraux et Métaux (A3M).
