Victoria Petrova has over 25 years of professional experience gained both in private and public sector.She is heading the Industry unit in the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). The remit covers projects in the fields of Raw materials, Advanced materials and Sustainable products, with a legacy of 690 projects under Horizon 2020, and the implementation of the relevant destinations of Horizon Europe Cluster 4, with a total budget of over €7 bln for the 7 years framework, and over 100new projects launched in 2022. Victoria Petrova was also Advisor for Hydrogen Economy, with the Ecosystem Mobility & Energy IntensiveIndustries of DG GROW (responsible for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs). And she advised also on Regulatory consistence of proposals in the area of industrial sectors, such as Construction, Engineering, Mobility and Energy Intensive Industries. She coordinated the work with regard to those industrial sectors both on R&D aspect and on structural reforms and investments. She has been previously serving as public official, with the EC department for Agriculture and Rural development before joining DG Enterprise, where Victoria Petrova took the lead for a policy coordination unit on EU Small Business policy and international regulatory dialogues.She holds a specialised MBA in International Trade and Marketing, a research Master degree in social sciences, as well as Master degrees in Economics, but also in Eastern languages and Orientalstudies and in History.
