Dimitrios Biliouris –Forester, with a M.Sc. (University College London) and a PhD (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) in Remote Sensing. Since May 2015, he works as a Raw Materials Project Adviser, in EASME and now HaDEA, implementing EU policies into action by ensuring that funded H2020 and Horizon Europe projects deliver optimum results as well as providing the European Commission with pivotal input for its policy tasks. He is responsible for monitoring and managing the on-going activities of numerous highly complex R&I projects. His portfolio is mainly on the Mining Exploration, Extraction, Critical Raw Materials, Earth Observation/GNSS, Construction and Forest Based Projects. Previously he had worked in the private sector on a number of diverse earth observation related projects as Project Manager and Coordinator.
