Roland Gaußis Head of Innovation and Business Intelligence at EIT RawMaterials, an Innovation Community of companies, universities, and research organizations in the raw materials sector co-financed by the European Commission. His work focus relates to technology scouting and project portfolio management with a focus on technology upscaling projects in Responsible Sourcing, Sustainable Materials, and Circular Economy. He also coordinates the ERMA Cluster Rare Earth Magnets and Motors on behalf of the European Commission. He received a PhD from the University of Tübingen and was Head of Department at Fraunhofer IWKS.
