Chargé de mission at the French government’s mineral resources policy office, Eric Buisson works on EU affairs, sustainability and due diligence regarding extractive industries and supply of mineral raw materials. These involved cooperation with the French geological survey aims to classify French resources using UNECE’s framework for resources classification (UNFC).

The mineral resources policy office is part of the Directorate-General for housing, land planning and nature (DGALN), in charge of mineral resources supply policy, as well as mining and permitting for France.
