Massimo Gasparon is the Director of ERMA - the European Raw Materials Alliance (erma.eu) at EIT RawMaterials, the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide, initiated and funded by the European Union through the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology). ERMA’s goal is to secure the supply of sustainable raw materials for Europe’s industrial ecosystems. He holds a PhD in geochemistry from the University of Tasmania and prior to joining EIT RawMaterials in 2017 he was a professor in the School of Earth Sciences at The University of Queensland.
