Dr. Marion Bechtold is innovation manager and coordinator of the KU Leuven Materials Research Centre (MRC). MRC is a virtual platform to initiate interdisciplinary research activities develop innovative materials solutions for a sustainable future. Marion holds a Master in Geosciences from the University of Göttingen and a PhD in Materials Sciences from RWTH Aachen University. She is member of the CLC West steering committee of EIT RawMaterials and is currently involved in initiating and coordinating national and international projects in the fields of materials for energy and the circular economy.
